Arne Jacobsen was one of Denmark's most influential 20th century designers. Conceiving iconic classics such as the swan and egg, his eye for fabricate was truly exception, combining modernist ideals with a Nordic love of naturalism. From basic roots as an apprentice bricklayer, he rose through the ranks winning a place to study architecture at the Royal Academy of the Arts in 1924.
